Will bees draw comb on these plastic frames without wax? While bees can build comb directly on raw plastic, applying a thin layer of melted beeswax to the foundation surface encourages faster acceptance and comb building by the colony.
Are these frames suitable for Ideal or WSP size boxes? No. At 23.2 cm in height, these frames are strictly sized for full-depth / deep Langstroth boxes and will not fit shallower Ideal or WSP hive boxes.
